Book Review #2: The Magician's Daughter

If you love mystery, action, humor, and plot twists, then you're in for a treat!
Judith Janeway captures your attention the moment you open the book. I love books with vivid imagery. If I can't imagine myself right next to the main character then it is very hard for me to engage. This book had no problem with that imagery.

This book is about a girl name Valentine who in her past life use to be a con artist that was trained by her mother. She lived a lie for most of her life that she feels robbed of her childhood. With her mom on the run she changed her lifestyle and became a street magician. One day Valentine's life changes, her story unfolds and her mystery becomes harder to solve. The search for her mother, and unanswered questions of her childhood and life in general is her motive to finding her. Along the way she meets new people - are they a friend or a foe? Only time will tell as the mystery unfolds.

I loved this book from start to finish. It took me about 4 days to read this, but if I didn't have homework I would have finished it in one full day. I highly recommend this book for all you mystery lovers. Janeway has more books and mystery's from Valentine's life that I can't wait to get my hands on! I bought my book from Books Inc. but you can buy this book on Amazon.

Have you read this book? What are some mystery books that you have read? I would love to check them out!

Best,
