My best friend and I decided to walk around town, mostly for Pokemon Go but also to check out new sites in Kaka'ako. There is a block called SALT, where there are new urban restaurants, murals, and Pokestops. It is still in the making but for the time being there a few shops that you can stop in and relax. We went to Mr. Tea which is a bubble tea shop. Bubble Tea isn't my top 3 drink, but I do love the Jasmine Milk Tea. We noticed that there were pretty "scenic" areas to take "model-like" pictures so we had to take advantage to snap a few, and did *SNAP* we *SNAP* work *SNAP* it! 

They named it SALT because the pa‘akai (Hawaiian for “salt”) ponds that once dotted the low-lying wetlands of this area, SALT at Our Kaka‘ako is Honolulu’s epicenter for local culture, food, shopping and innovative events. click here for more deets!

My most favorite part of theis area are the GORGEOUS MURALS. It so creative and makes the atmosphere quite lively. If you are ever on Oahu, you MUST check this area out. Especially if you have the Pokemon app there are great Pokemon, Poke stops, and discounts in the stores! :)
