DIY: Organized College Binder

1:03 AM

This is my last year as an undergrad and I am excited to finally accomplish such a huge goal in life! Also to take a break from school and explore in the "real world." I would like to finish off this semester with a 4.0, but we will see how organized, and consistent I am. This year I wanted to shift my notebook style and folder style. Last year I had a 5 subject notebook and bought 3 folders to hold all of my papers. Although it was efficient, I didn't like the fact that I had to keep switching back and forth because my classes alternated. So I am taking it old school and using a binder to keep all 5 classes into one. I say this is old school because I haven't used a binder like this since high school!

Here is what is in my binder:
  • Tab Dividers
I bought colorful ones with durable pockets to add my cover photo for each class and my syllabis. You are unable to label the tabs, but I like color coding to help me visually.
  • Sheet Protectors
These are perfect for assigned readings that are needed for the week, your papers are protected from any wear and tear & they are affordable for a pack of 12.
  • Line Paper
Perfect for taking notes for the classes, I divided the paper evenly amongst all of my classes. I can always refer back to it, and take it out if I need to review my notes without holding everything else.
  • A calendar per class
from Sarah Titus Blog
This calendar is from the "Sarah Titus" blog and I am so happy that they are free downloadable ones. You are welcome to customize your own, but with my school schedule and work schedule I don't have the time to create my own. This was very convenient. What I did was print each month out 5 times and divided them amongst each class I had. I then wrote down what is due for all classes. I felt that it was simpler to split all the classes instead of look at one calendar and be overwhelmed from all of the work that is needed to be completed. I do have a planner but I put my personal events in there. My planner is from bando.

To make this binder have a "touch" of Aysia. I created cover photos for each class. I am in love with geometric shapes and water colors at the moment. Here are a few of my class covers.

The background images are from Google, none of them had watermarks on them -- but whoever created them THEY ARE AWESOME!!

This is my DIY College Binder. Hopefully I stick with it and it helps me reach the 4.0 for my last semester. Do you have any DIY Organize Binders or School items that you would love to share?

Best,
